A 3 dimensional system used mainly for entertainment and gaming purposes. Also has applications in commercial and research environments.

Any space can be adapted for its use. The main units which comprise 3DVR are

• Processor
• VR Headset
• Tactile Body Wear

These elements interact to provide a realistic experience. Further advanced setups can be created which include:

• Interactive powered handholds – to be attached on walls, ceilings and floors. 

• Swimfinite pool integration – to be used with a pressure enabled wetsuit and interactive visor. This configuration can be used in the standard Swimfinite pool setup and make use of the generated current and morphing surfaces on the floor and pool wall to simulate seabeds and terrain.

The two applications above are more advanced, but provide realistic all immersive experiences such as rock climbing and swimming in the deep ocean.

Andy and Eric’s 3DVR room in the Big Bear observatory generates realistic holographic depictions of the solar system. Bodies can be programmed to behave in different ways. During their less busy times they make use of the Asteroid Billiards game where bodies are fired into each other and the resulting collision can snd bodies to their ultimate demise. 

Other enhancements include sound, smell, heat sensations and precipitation. 3DVR is a very common home entertainment system.

JÖRD

JÖRD was formed towards the end of the 21st and century started a new level of tolerance, understanding and empathy throughout the world. An international consortium, it pulls expertise from all the nations which it comprises including valuable skills such as lunar flight, interplanetary travel and long spaceflight endurance techniques. It also included many environmental organisations whose aims were to reverse deadly environmental chain reactions started in previous centuries.

The Icelandic word, JÖRD was deliberately chosen to remind the world of its destructive nature. Centuries of indulgence and abuse of the world submerged and destroyed many inhabited islands. Iceland had suffered similarly, losing much of its lower terrain. It was thought naming this agency after a nation founded by Vikings one of the world’s greatest race of warriors was a fitting tribute.

At JÖRD’s creation in the late 21st century, Earth was on the brink of self destruction for decades. Nations and religions turned on each other, using warfare, both primitive and technologically advanced. Many nations joined together to fight this threat to world peace and stability. Innocent lives were being lost. Large corporations all over the world were being shut down due to the sophisticated and successful industrial espionage infiltration, by white collar warriors. The Earth’s population was subject to very intrusive investigations, background checks and surveillance. The general public felt cheated and deceived. It seemed all the high tech and convenient ways which were at everyone’s disposal were gradually imprisoning everyone. There was not much anyone could do without their actions being recorded in an indelible record. Unwittingly, the general public’s support for the various rebel factions around the world was increasing. No longer were law abiding individuals going to accept being watched around the clock. 

People’s foolish actions as youngsters were recorded and laid dormant until such time when decisions on mortgages, jobs and medical treatment were needed. When any of these or other services were needed, people’s histories were resurrected before them, and an instant decision made, very often not in their favour. Gangs and unscrupulous individuals were making a fortune out of individuals willing to take the risk of having their histories reprogrammed. Ironically, the criminals who were perpetrating these crimes by night were the very same officials enforcing the law by day. But as long as they were paid the correct price, their silence was guaranteed. Without such perpetrators many individuals would not be in employment or stand a chance of owning their own home.

Governments were aware of the corruption. Suspicion among officials was rife, but there was considerable danger and repercussions in exposing a colleague. If the accuser was wrong, they and their family were marked for life. If an accusation proved successful, the criminal would also be finished, but inevitably they would have associates who would be willing to “deal” with the accuser and anyone associated with them. Something needed to be done to wipe out these corrupt dealings.

Each generation learned from the last, but this was insufficient, as “the good out, bad in” was increasing. The Good Out, Bad In concept was one of the most simple, yet powerful concepts invented by environmentalists of the 21st century. Simply, it predicted the damage being done by all the activities which drained the Earth’s resources. The Good Out aspect represented the resources taken from the Earth and put into these activities. Bad In described the by products and emissions from the human self centred actions, which were having to be assimilated and neutralised by an increasingly weary planet.

Kuiper Belt

The Kuiper Belt lies beyond the eight major planets and extends from the orbit of Neptune 30 AU to approximately 50 AU from the Sun (1 AU = 1 Astronomical Unit, 93,000,000 miles). Its shape resembles a ring doughnut and it is this shape which occupies the space outside Neptune’s orbit. The Kuiper Belt contains remnants from the Solar System’s formation. Kuiper belt objects are composed largely of frozen volatiles (termed “ices”), such as methane, ammonia and water, but also include some rock structures.

POLAR

POLAR – (Polar Orbital Load Ascending Redeployer) comprises two complexes located at the geographic North and South Poles. They are massive vertical conveyor belts, carrying loads upwards and returning crews and equipment back to Earth. “Re entry” does not have the normal fiery problems associated with the early spacecraft during first missions of early spaceflight. POLAR platforms travel at 5.2 mph, so there is no need for the level of heat shielding required by earlier spacecraft. The gentle descent allow the lazy air molecules to disperse at a leisurely pace, without friction. 

POLAR raises loads 250 miles above the Earth’s surface and each platform takes 2 days to cover its 250 mile ascent. During this time, final assembly of the space vehicles and their payloads takes place. Once the loads had reached this distance at the top of the towers, they are released, at which point the vehicles carrying the loads fire thrusters for the craft to assume a Polar orbit, or even escape the Earth’s gravity. Equatorial orbits are possible, but require a little more thruster fire to bring them into the correct orbit. 

POLAR Platforms extend 250 miles from the surface and are visible to 60 degrees north and south. However, atmospheric conditions and anomalies sometimes make them appear as levitating structures in the sky. Night times are impressive as the tops of the structures, illuminated, look like alien space ships as the lower portions were not visible. The density of the air at lower levels plays with the optical qualities of the atmosphere, giving the appearance of the levitating POLAR tops.

The composition of the POLAR frames change according to the altitude. From 30 miles upwards, the atmosphere’s increasing temperature is catered for by the materials used in the frame. Stability is ensured by the materials used along with a wide base.

Despite the instinctive human reluctance to be so high in the sky and eventually in space, there is no shortage of volunteers to work on the platforms undertaking the various tasks, such as assembling launch vehicles. The panoramic vistas enjoyed over the two day ascent are phenomenal. Time lapse footage of ascents show the Northern and Southern hemispheres in their full glory. The platforms move at an imperceivable rate of 5.2 miles per hour. A low speed was deliberately chosen for safety, but also provide a great trip for the privileged few. For the affluent, on two platforms on each POLAR structure a hotel is located. This ensures at any one time, there is an ascending and descending hotel platform in each hemisphere. The lucky guests have the option of a two day package and a spaceflight to various deep space destinations or more local destinations such as the moon. Alternatively they can enjoy a four day return trip. These platforms are also used by Astronauts, who ascend to the top and use their small shuttle to dock with a space station or transfer to larger vehicles based on the Moon.

The hotel platforms at both POLAR locations are well equipped. Each room has an unrestricted view through 300 degrees, the only obstruction being offered by the vertical conveyor belt behind the hotel. Each room is furnished with state of the art gadgets and conveniences, as well as the best stargazing equipment for use in space. The unrestricted views offer the most amazing photo opportunities. The rooms boast the latest in glass technology, offering a single curved window 10ft high and 20 wide out of which surfers could view the infinite expanse of space. The latest imaging and Head up Display technology is integrated into the windows, which allow identification of celestial bodies from the comfort of the room.

Each guest has the use of a spacesuit, the same used by astronauts. When suited, guests can leave the hotel via an airlock and walk on their balcony outside taking in the breathtaking view. The suits are shielded well enough to protect the wearer from the hazards of the upper atmosphere, such as the Aurora Borealis and the Aurora Australis, as well as other radiation and space hazards.

Polar Ascent

After two hours and at a height of 10 miles Europe is visible in the northern hemisphere and the tip of South America in the southern hemisphere. The curvature of the Earth is pronounced at this point. A definite separation of the lower light blue troposphere and the darker upper atmosphere becomes apparent. As the Earth rotates so does the POLAR platforms, turning day into night.

Throughout the journey in the Stratosphere the outside temperature rises, from -50 degrees Celsius to 0 Degrees Celsius. From 30 miles upwards, POLAR enters the Mesosphere. Here the temperature drops steadily to -70 degrees Celsius. From 30 miles, JÖRD’s satellites and Space Stations are visible.

Nine and a half hours into the ascent POLAR transitions into the Thermosphere. Here the temperature soars from -70 to +350 degrees Celsius. The Auroras are transitioned at 60 miles. Over the next 36hrs,  the Earth disappears further as POLAR reaches its altitude of 250 miles.

NewReal

NewsReal provides real time news updated constantly and disseminated to everyone. The reader chooses their preferred format; video watch, portable video player and the Oracle Journal are a few examples. The Oracle Journal is affectionately referred to as the morning OJ – the descendant of the morning paper, popular from the 19^th century onwards. Now, the public can enjoy two types of OJ in the morning; the citrus variety as well as the journalistic type with the motto “Have two OJs in the morning. Drink one, digest the other”. The “paper” uses the latest technology and has broadsheet dimensions. It is a paper thin, foldable, LCD newspaper. Each page is dedicated to a particular topic such as sport, showbiz and finance. The clever innovation is its ability to receive news updates and display them for the reader. These ‘papers’ are reusable, but have a lifespan of only a month, which can be prolonged if not folded. Users rearrange the pages according to their preferences Generally, when an individual hears or reads the news, Anthony John is the reporter

SolAds

An opaque yet thin and flimsy disc launched into space which can be positioned anywhere. The diameter of the disc is 300 miles and placed at such a distance to block out the Sun from targeted Earthbound observers. The discs comprise tiny squares which are either opened or closed. When closed no light passes through. When open, the squares admit light and by activating preprogrammed squares any pattern or message can be displayed. The newer models incorporate filters which allow messages to be displayed in colour. These advertising discs were introduced at a time where human decency and mutual respect had all but disappeared and the drive was to earn money for individuals at any cost, including destruction of the night skies. The new collective consciousness and rekindled love for the planet and its inhabitants have made SolAds’ continued existence doubtful as the population demand the night sky be free of obstructions.

Stephem Enterprises

Stephem Enterprises is a private company, wholly owned by Helios P Stephem, the richest person in the history of planet Earth and for whom the term Multi Centrillionnaire was created. It is a global entity and almost everyone on the planet has been in contact with or made use of a Stephem Enterprises product or service with or without their knowledge. Headquartered in Burbank, it’s housed in a building which extends to 350 floors. At the core of Stephem Enterprises is the need to ensure everyone has equal opportunity to maintain a lifestyle which is deserved by all with the help of their products, services and various outreach programs. Stephem is a philanthropist who supports work on Planet Earth’s physical and atmospheric wellbeing. 

Helios P Stephem owns patents on some of the most successful inventions in history. He has also developed and made a number of the world’s greatest innovations in use today. Some of the more well known are:

Herphomos – Large space vehicle currently nearing completion on the moon. To be used for missions to Mars and the deployment of inhabitants after terraformation. Its name is taken from HERmes, the winged god, PHObos and DeiMOS , the moons of Mars. The Herphomos is solely funded by Stephem and will be made available for use by JÖRD if required.

NimbAds – A clever system owned by Stephem used for image and advertisement projection onto towering cumulonimbus clouds. More effective in areas of active thunderstorm clouds. Stephem favours the Sumatras, a line of thunderstorms which result from the South Western Monsoon near Singapore and Malaysia.

SolAds – Large, thin banners deployed in space to deliver advertisements to an earthbound audience.

These are a few of the many ventures owned and operated by Stephem Enterprises. Stephem Enterprises works closely with JÖRD and has helped finance initiatives which could see the terraformation of Mars for future colonies.

One of the high profile projects being undertaken at Stephem Enterprises is Project (M)Earth and is Stephem’s paradigm for eventual terraformation and colonisation of Mars. The resulting terraformed planet will officially be called (M)Earth. Project (M)Earth comprises three phases; 

EarthLab, which was based on Earth in the Gobi Desert, 

LunarLab, based on the moon and finally 

(M)EarthLab would be the culmination of the previous two phases, resulting in the full terraformation of Mars, the resulting planet will be (M)Earth.

With the new object on a course for Earth, focus has shifted towards the successful removal of this threat. Stephem Enterprises has taken on services of Eric Carpenter to oversee these activities who is working closely with Helios P Stephem.

This is a huge organisation with far reaching influence and will require deeper investigation. Further findings of interest will be notified in our journal and added to this page.
