Dear Reader

Tashi delek, thank you for visiting, welcome and I hope this finds you in peace and serenity despite these uncertain times. We believe this is the closest this world has ever been to total destruction. We are now in the 2,820th year of our Lord Buddha (2,277 AD, conventional western calendar) and from our monastery here on the roof of the world in the Tibetan Gangtise mountain range my fellow faithful monks and I have closely followed many world changing events and witnessed near destruction of you and our Mother Planet. So far you resolved your problems without our intervention. At pivotal times we descend from our mountain and walk among you, blend in and observe, without your knowledge. Though hidden from the world, we have always moved quietly through it. Only those of you unaware of your inner peace and serenity may fleetingly notice us and forget as you continue on your frenetic existence. We have been encouraged with your newly found peace and enlightenment over the last one and a half centuries. But with this new threat from deep space, as we walk among you, watching and listening, we can see a return to your old ways.

Your many conflicts, in particular the two great wars in your 20th century, and the suffering you inflicted on one another driven by greed and desire drove you to near extinction on numerous occasions. And while travelling this road to near self destruction you involved every insect, animal, leaf, flower, tree and living being, without their consent.

But fortunately you somehow realised the damage you did; poisoning the air, land and seas, annihilating species forever who had every right to a fruitful existence and changed your ways completely. This new level of calm with cooperation, collaboration of nations and resources was very encouraging. We now feel the need to intervene as the threat of your destruction, our Mother planet and everything she nurtures becomes more realistic as every day passes.

Forceful intervention goes against traditional Buddhist teachings, but we are not traditional Buddhists. Our monastery includes many and has existed for thousands of years hidden from the rest of the world. We practice the ṛddhi and iddhi ways. Those who made the journey also possessed power in mystical and paranormal practices and came from many faiths including Brahmins from India, Buddhists from here in Tibet and Taoists from China. All these faiths coalesced into a new cohesive Buddhist faith and Buddha’s teaching remain at our core. Our traditional Buddhist brothers and sisters know and accept us as they understand we are at heart following the great Buddha’s teachings and sometimes have to call on our magical powers to right wrongs in the world. And this is such a time.

As they have done without fail throughout time, the winds and rains from the south have nourished our beloved tea plants and this is the season where I can now enjoy clear strong tea especially in the early evening while I watch the sun gracefully fall behind my beautiful mountains changing from white to blue to orange, then disappear as the black blanket of night covers and protects. I am normally at ease at this time, but this is different and we are troubled to see once again where you are steering the world. Our observations, journeys, meditations and communication with those in the God Realm and your current actions on our planet are cause for concern.

We have called on our rddhi, or magic as you say, and we can now sense a presence beyond our world, moving with purpose, from between the stars. But we can also see its effect, allowing your older, darker impulses to resurface in our world with deadly consequences. The feeling is different from previous unrest as we can sense a finality to the world and all within. We feel the samsara has been severely interrupted and our world is now speeding towards a hastened demise. Our beliefs and Dharma teach us the world is in a state of constant creation and death and this is something we accept. But we can now feel a force or entity not wholesome or pure of thought has taken hold and is trying with all its power to bring the world to an unnatural end.

This shift means the world and all we know may be close to an end, but forced and premature which does not fit into the natural cycle currently followed by the Universe. Our conversations with our Devas in the God Realm are deeply concerning and this is why I have chosen to learn what has happened and if it can be reversed. The Devas feel the world is not ready for its next full destruction and incarnation. It’s not yet time and the threat we face from outside our world journeys closer everyday.

We can see you believe yourselves in control, taking steps in an attempt to avoid this catastrophe, using great amounts of your wealth and labour in Project (M)Earth to provide a refuge on Mars. Why is all of this happening and what is the real threat? I must start this journey of discovery, not knowing what I will find. As my journey progresses, I will record all I learn in this journal for all to read. I fear much has occurred unnoticed by us here and only by learning will I and my fellow brothers learn how ignorant we have been up to this point. We hope we are not too late.

I must offer my humble apologies to you dear reader as I have not introduced myself. I am Thich Hanh Tu, Monk, Tibetan Gangtise mountains, Tibet. I will try to bring the truth to you and if our feelings prove right, we will try and stop the disaster unfolding. I hope you will be able to follow our journey of discovery and offer your spiritual support as we face and confront whatever is out there.
